Aaron Pierre with Bumble
Bumble partnered with The Lion King’s Aaron Pierre for Valentine’s Day 2025. Bringing to life an editorial photoshoot, interview and BTS video content for organic social channels. 

The brief was to develop a distinct aesthetic for the Talent Social Series while maintaining Bumble Date’s brand identity. Inspired by their recent work with Amelia Dimoldenberg, we selected a typeface and yellow that reflected Aaron’s personality and complemented the aesthetic of the campaign.

To highlight the talent, we created a magazine editorial style and explored an alternative serif font inspired by the Amelia work stream, selecting one that feels bolder and more legible, whilst also exploring a more traditional typesetting approach for consistency. Additionally, we experimented with Bumble’s range of yellows, tailoring the shades to complement the talent and the colour space of the imagery or footage.
